ACCEDER

Veredón-Mojón Blanco Path

The path from Veredón to Mojón Blanco runs through the cattle track Colada Fuente de la Teja, in Pegalajar. It allows us to climb to the peak where the municipal areas of Pegalajar, Mancha Real and Torres meet, and from which we can contemplate spectacular views of the shady area of Bercho, one of the steepest and wildest areas of the municipal area of Pegalajar. We can also enjoy incredible views of the Sierra de Jaén.

The path runs through Mediterranean vegetation formed by holm oak and pine forests.

It is a relatively short path that we can complete with a visit to the beautiful village of Pegalajar and its famous pond, which in the years of abundant rains appears like an enormous pond inside the urban area.

This path can be linked with those coming from the Mancha Real, as well as with other cattle routes, or even climb the Pico Almadén.
