ACCEDER

Sendero Pozo Nuevo

The path that concerns us is located in the town of Baños de la Encina, Centenillo village, an old mining town that reached its maximum splendor in the 19th century. Due to the great importance that mining had in this place, along our route we will be able to observe remains of the mining activity, tunnels, chimneys or the Pozo Nuevo Mine, where some buildings are still standing. It is called Pozo Nuevo because it was the last well opened for mining in 1917.

In addition, we will enjoy incredible panoramic views of the Rio Grande Valley and the Sierra del Puntal.
