It is a square tower tower. The construction in 1883 of this bell tower in which innovative techniques of cast iron work were used. The placement of a new public clock was a symbol of modernity that reflected the influence on the architecture of the Industrial Revolution that was taking place at the national level.

At the end of the 19th century Albanchez lived a period of expansion with olive grove agriculture and the town doubled its population.

The inscription on the iron of the clock says:

"Paid with municipal funds being mayor Don Sebastian Ogayar León Year 1883".
