The center was created in 1956 thanks to the initiative of Mr. Rafael Contreras de la Paz. The exposed material belongs almost exclusively to the remains found in the ancient Iberian-Roman city of Cástulo. The exhibition is divided into three floors - ground floor, basement and first floor.
