The restoration works that are putting the fortress in value, have generated an interpretation center, where the visitor can learn about the historical evolution of the building, from its origin as an Almohad fortress, through the transformations developed by the Calatravian friars and the construction of a new castle, equipped with the necessary rooms to develop a conventual life in it; until concluding with the construction inside, the palace of the lords of the town.
