The area surrounding the Guadalimar river and the Guadalmena reservoir are great recreational areas close to nature.

Highlights of the town’s artistic heritage include the Arabic castle, the Iglesia Parroquial de San Pedro (Parochial Church of Saint Peter), built at the end of the 16th century and the beginning of the 17th century, and the Casa de la Encomienda, which was the home of the poet Jorge Manrique.
