Cazalilla
A township in the Campiña district of Jaén, west of the Guadalquivir river, 31 km north of the city of Jaén and 24 km from Andújar.
It is a predominantly agricultural community, with the land occupied by olive groves, cereals and allotments.
Its architectural highlight is the parochial church of Santa María Magdalena (Saint Mary Magdalene).

This small township in the east of the Campiña district is a predominantly agricultural community, with the entire area made up of farmland. It’s one of the few towns in which olives are a minority crop alongside arable crops, although it is on the increase and is the largest source of income for the town. To the north, the municipal area reaches the Guadalquivir river and here, the lands are dedicated to growing cotton and corn. Small game hunting is also significant here since it is the ideal habitat for many species, particularly hares and partridges.
