Program

The legends that have been passed from generation to generation tell that an image of the Virgin appeared in a village that the Arabs called Alhara, located about 4 kilometers from Porcuna. A hermitage was built there and a famous pilgrimage is held every year since the 15th century. It is celebrated on the second Sunday in May and the brotherhoods that the brotherhood has in the towns of Arjona, Arjonilla, Escañuela and Lopera go to it.
