Juan Pablo is the third generation of potters in his family. His eagerness to learn led him from a very young age to become familiar with a job that has become his livelihood today. In his workshop, located in a singular building whose origins date back to the XV-XVI centuries and declared by the Junta de Andalucia as a Point of Artisan Interest, is found the Paco Tito Memoria de lo Cotidiano Pottery Museum, where he exhibits some of the clay creations he cooks in his Arabian kiln, perfectly preserved and in use, being one of the few in Spain in operation. He works the traditional ceramics of Ubeda, elaborating handmade products such as cups, plates, basins, etc, as well as other decorative objects such as life-size sculptures or exclusive pieces created from the synergy between different materials such as clay, silver or bronze, which have led him to create, together with the well-known jewelry craftsmen Ferrándiz, his own accessories firm De Barro y Plata.
He collaborates closely with other craftsmen or designers. Many of his decorative or restoration works are displayed in restaurants in Cancun or London.
