The Giribaile reservoir is a reservoir located on the Guadalimar River, in the Guadalquivir Basin between the regions of La Loma de Úbeda and El Condado.

Of recent construction between 1993 and 1997, its wall is located on the slopes of the La Lambra area, and submerges part of the municipalities of Ibros, Vilches, Rus, Canena, Úbeda, Navas de San Juan and Sabiote.

It houses an immense artificial lake of the still waters of the river, the so-called "Mar de La Loma" is the second largest in Jaén and the third in the Guadalquivir basin with a capacity of 475 hm3.

Under its waters the monumental Ariza Bridge from the 16th century by the architect Andrés de Vandelvira has been submerged. Likewise, three houses were flooded and 12 inhabitants had to move.

It has uses for irrigation, fishing, bathroom, electricity and has a tourist pier.
