In the municipality of Jódar, next to the Sierra Mágina Natural Park, we find an important nesting population of Common Swamphen. Concentrations of Black Kite in passage, resting on the willow trees during migration. They also breed waterfowl, such as the Common Bittern, Imperial Heron, Mallard Duck, Mallard Duck, European Porrón, Common Stilt, Common Avoceta and Marsh Harrier. In wintering, Cattle Egret, Common Teal, Common Avocet, Common Sandpiper, Black-tailed Needle, Common Archibebe and Colorado Duck. Highlight the high concentrations of passerines in groves and reed beds, such as Common Carricero, Carricero Tordal, Pájaro Moscón and Buscala Unicolor.
